Executive Decision

As I was writing my review of this month’s PBC selection (discussion on Deborah Keenan’s Willow Room, Green Door will be next Monday), I realized I never put up a poll for the May book. It was probably due to that whole domain switching business.
At any rate, I am going to make the executive decision to select Rae Armantrout’s Next Life as our May Poetry Book Club selection. During the last poll, Armantrout was the close second, so I feel it would be a good choice. We’ll have the discussion post on Monday, May 12. Enjoy!

Yep — Swimming the Witch was at the beginning of March. We’re doing Deborah Keenan’s Willow Room, Green Door — which you may enjoy. My review will go up at RWP on Thursday. Then, in May we’re doing Next Life. You’re ahead of me, because I haven’t ordered it yet.
I plan on doing that tonight.

Jessica, I’m really off track! I read Leilani Hall’s book, then accidentally skipped Deborah Keenan’s. I didn’t read your review on Swimming the Witch, because I was trying to finish it first. So, I’ll read your two reviews, order the Keenan book, but probably I won’t get it in time for the book club. We’ll see. I’m suffering from spring haze, a made-up illness that works to excuse my disorganization.
